Book Review: The Wonder of Your Love by Beth Wiseman

The Wonder of Your Love is the sequel to Seek Me With All Your Heart.  New mother, Beth Ann, whose husband left her and then died in a car crash is not looking for a replacement.  She is content to live with her baby boy for the rest of her life…or so she thinks until she meets handsome Levi.  Levi is a widower and father of six grown children who he raised without a wife.  He believes he is also content to remain single and spend the rest of his life relaxing and traveling.  When relatives decide to match the two of them up and they become friends, they never expect it to turn into more, but God had a different plan for them. 

The Wonder of Your Love is a beautiful story about how God cares about our happiness.  Beth Ann and Levi both love the Lord, but little do they know how much He loves them and the plans he has for them.  I loved the romance of this story and the constant reminder of the Lord’s love.  Beth Ann and Levi both grew in their love of God throughout the story and learned to be close to Him even through trials.  This book was a great reminder to me of how we need to trust the Lord through everything we encounter in life, big and small because He loves us more than we can imagine. 

I would give this book four out of five stars because the story is amazing.  The writing is a little lacking in my opinion.  I though some of the conversation sequences were a little unrealistic and therefore didn’t make the characters seem real.  Other than that, I loved this book and would definitely recommend it to anyone who enjoys Christian romances.
